Fachschule für Bautechnik der Landeshauptstadt München,
Meisterschule für das Bauhandwerk; Germany:

"Cost-efficient construction of multi-storey timber-frame housing"

  • basic information on timber and timber-frame construction
  • design details, taking into account the requirements dictated by architectural physics
  • trends in the construction of low-energy housing
  • visit to a timber-construction company to see prefabrication steps
  • visit to a construction site, and a tour through a finished housing object

Internal test workshop: 4th – 6th October, 1999

Material compilation and the test workshops are due for completion by the middle of 2000. The most interesting results will be published in an internet homepage.
